The plug presents a serious risk of electric shock as the plug face does not conform to the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. There is insufficient distance between the pins and the edge of the adapter. This means that the user can easily access live parts. Improvements are also required to the product marking, labelling and documentation.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
