Defect: On affected vehicles equipped with manually operated front seats there is a potential issue on the front seats due to insufficient welding strength between the recliner and the lower bracket on the seat backrest which may compromise the backrest’s ability to provide optimal occupant protection in the event of an impact.

Remedy: Inspect both front seats and install additional brackets as required.
