⚠ What You Should Do
Step One is to ensure regular monitoring of oil level to avoid the failure occurring. Please contact your preferred authorised Honda retailer to arrange an appointment to have your oil consumption level checked. Honda is currently finalising step two to ensure the oil consumption issue can be resolved on all affected motorcycles as quickly as possible. You will receive a further letter to inform you when this is available.
Recall Details
Defect: For affected machines the rate of engine oil consumption may deteriorate quickly. Continued riding without noticing that the amount of oil has decreased could result in reduced oil pressure that may lead to seizure.
