Recall Details
Defect: For certain vehicles a defect may be present in the cell modules of the 48Ah High Voltage Battery which could result in overheating during charging. Overheating of the battery cell modules during charging (or shortly afterwards) may lead to a thermal event.
Remedy: Installation of new software into the Battery Management controller (BMC) to detect potential issues with the performance of the battery modules.
