⚠ What You Should Do
The insulation monitoring device (IMD) will be replaced by an upgraded version a residual current device (RCPF sensor) will be installed inside the insulation resistance measurement unit and the OCEPS software will be updated. For vehicles built after 2025w21 until 2025w37 will also have the EMC filter reinstalled.
Recall Details
Defect: On affected vehicles the AC inlet socket and the power outlet for body builder equipment might be incorrectly energized. Therefore in vehicles where AC or DC power outlets are installed there might be voltage with low leakage current inadvertently present inside the AC inlet socket when the power outlet is active. Also when AC charging there might be a voltage with low leakage current inadvertently present on the power outlet.
