⚠ What You Should Do

Reprogram the ECU. Replace the reed valves in the air suction valve assemblies on used motorcycles and if necessary replace any parts that have been heat damaged as a result of after-fire occurring.

Recall Details

Defect: The factory Electronic Control Unit programming may cause the engine to after fire when Kawasaki Quick Shifter is used under heavy engine load.
