⚠ What You Should Do
All potentially affected vehicles will be inspected to confirm any wiring harness damage. Vehicles identified with a damaged wiring harness will receive a new replacement harness. Addition of a band will be applied to prevent reoccurrence.
Recall Details
Defect: When the pillion step is assembled and the wiring harness is not correctly positioned the harness may be pinched between the pillion step and the frame body or between the luggage box and the frame body.
Remedy: All potentially affected vehicles will be inspected to confirm any wiring harness damage. Vehicles identified with a damaged wiring harness will receive a new replacement harness. Addition of a band will be applied to prevent reoccurrence.
