For safety reasons it is necessary to check the passenger airbag and if required to replace the airbag module.

Recall Details

Defect: On affected vehicles the passenger airbag may in extremely rare cases be overloaded and even burst when the passenger airbag is triggered. If this were to happen small metal parts could become dislodged from the housing and potentially cause life-threatening injury to a vehicle occupant.

Remedy: For safety reasons it is necessary to check the passenger airbag and if required to replace the airbag module.
