Defect: On affected vehicles the seat mechanism of the front left seat may not have been manufactured within accordance to specifications It is possible that an incorrectly sized rivet was used during production. As a result the mechanism may fail in the event of an accident.

Remedy: On affected vehicles the front left seat mechanism will be checked and if necessary replaced.
