The engine compartment cover must be removed. Check for security prior to journey if loose remove if possible if not contact dealer immediately for rectification.

Recall Details

Defect: On affected vehicles engine compartment covers were fitted that if incorrectly installed can come loose from their attachments. An unsecured engine compartment cover could touch the hot area of the turbocharger and result in smouldering damage or even a fire.

Remedy: The engine compartment cover must be removed. Check for security prior to journey if loose remove if possible if not contact dealer immediately for rectification.
