Defect: A small number of Transit vehicles have been manufactured with an incorrect tow bar that does not meet the correct load specifications. It is important for the affected vehicles to be returned to a Ford Authorised Dealer. If the tow load is in excess of 2600kg this could potentially result in the trailer becoming detached or the tow bar assembly being damaged. A detached trailer or a damaged tow bar could increase the risk of an accident.
