We are taking a proactive approach by issuing a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) to update our latest guidance. We now recommend inspecting all alloy wheel rims every 8 weeks or at the regular scheduled vehicle inspection (whichever is shortest) as an added precaution.
Recall Details
Defect: Currently Wrightbus believe that there is a flaw in the rim design contributing to the failure mode however at the present time this is still under investigation. Wrightbus are continuing to liaise with the manufacture to qualify the root cause of the failures.
