Replacement of ESS Traction battery.

Recall Details

Defect: ESS Traction battery. There is a risk that a small metal piece from a broken terminal fixation might come loose and create a short circuit between battery cells inside the traction battery which might lead to overheating and a risk of fire. There will be a red warning in the instrument cluster to the driver if a short-circuit is detected inside the battery before the battery overheats.

Remedy: Replacement of ESS Traction battery.
