Defect: The manufacturer has determined that on affected vehicles a potentially defective airbag module from Takata might have been installed during a driver-airbag replacement. In the event of an accident with airbag deployment the airbag may not provide any restraining effect and there could be a risk of injury to the occupants from separating inflator parts.

Remedy: Check the airbag on the affected vehicles and replace it if necessary.
