Modify pre-heater relay harness by connection of extension cable with fuse. Replace pre-heater relay as required.

Defect: The engine pre-heater relay may overheat and fail due to short circuit between the 24V and ground on the printed circuit board (PCB).

Remedy: Modify pre-heater relay harness by connection of extension cable with fuse. Replace pre-heater relay as required.
