Recall Details
Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock because mains plug does meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. The socket shutters can get stuck in an open position, allowing a consumer to access the live parts and receive an electric shock. There is also insufficient creepage and clearance distance between the mains potential input circuits and low voltage output circuits.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
