Hazard
The product presents a high risk of fire as the mains plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and has an incorrectly rated fuse. Additionally, the breakdown isolation between the input and output circuits is poorly built and does not meet insulation requirements. In the event of a fault or flashover, the wire and cable may overheat and melt, potentially leading to a fire. Improvements are also required to product documentation and marking.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
