Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of fire because it was supplied with a plug that does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and has no capacity for a fuse. The plug pins are too short and too close to the periphery of the plug. If a fault were to occur, the plug could overheat and catch fire. Improvements are also required to the products documentation, markings and instructions.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
