Hazard
The product presents a risk of electric shock because the insulated shutter operating device (ISOD), also known as the plastic earth pin, is shorter than required by BS 1363 dimensional requirements. This may prevent the socket shutters from operating correctly, potentially allowing access to live parts if an internal fault occurs during use, exposing the user to an electric shock.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets etc (Safety) Regulations 1994.
