Recall Details

Hazard

The product presents a high risk of electric shock because the live plug pin does not meet the minimum dimensional requirements of BS 1363. The pin is too short and may not engage correctly with the socket contacts when inserted into a mains socket. As a result, the live pin may remain accessible during insertion or removal of the plug, and a user could receive an electric shock through direct contact with the live parts.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
