The product presents a high risk of fire because there is no evidence to demonstrate that the scooter and supplied lithium-ion battery have been assessed using the relevant safety standards. No valid declaration of conformity was supplied with the product and there was no technical documentation. In the absence of evidence to demonstrate the conformity of the scooter, battery, and charger, it may be possible for the charger and/or battery to overheat, causing a fire.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
