Recall Details
Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock because the output cable earthing conductor is the same length as the live and neutral conductors, meaning that in the event of a cable strain or vehicle drive-off incident, the protective earth conductor could disconnect before the live conductors. This could result in accessible metal parts no longer being effectively earthed while remaining connected to the electricity supply. If a consumer touches a live part, they could receive an electric shock. The product also failed the earth bond test, indicating that the continuity of the protective earthing path may be inadequate.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Radio Equipment Regulations 2017.
