⚠ What You Should Do
The products have been recalled from end users.
Consumers who own an affected fridge freezer are advised to stop using it immediately, switch it off, and unplug it from the mains where accessible. To enable replacement of the fridge freezer B&Q are offering three options:
A full refund to purchase an alternative, plus £150 in lieu of installation costs, or
A free of charge equivalent product, for which you arrange installation, plus £150 in lieu of installation costs, or
A free of charge equivalent product including installation which B&Q will arrange.

Hazard
The products present a risk of fire as in certain cases, the automatic defrost mechanism may overheat.
The products do not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
