Recall Details

Hazard

The product presents a high risk of electric shock because the plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. The length of the ISOD pin exceeds the maximum permitted tolerance. It also has insufficient creepage and clearance distance between the primary and secondary circuits. Over time, the insulation can wear down and expose live wires, which may result in the user receiving an electric shock. Improvements are also required to product labelling, instructions and marking.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
