Defect: In some of the affected vehicles the rear axle bolts may fracture during vehicle acceleration and may prevent the vehicle from being held stationary if the parking brake is not applied.
Remedy: A software update will engage the electronic parking brake every time the vehicle is shifted into Park preventing vehicles from rolling.
