Recall Details
Defect: A small number of Ranger vehicles that have been manufactured with an incorrectly assembled engine idler gear. An improperly installed engine idler gear may cause an engine stall with sudden loss of power whilst driving increasing the risk of crash or injury. A noise is typically observed from the engine in advance. In the event of a failure the vehicle will stall and/or not start.
