Recall Details

Defect: While monitoring vehicles in operation we have identified a number of Focus vehicles where the passenger belt minder chime is not activated when the vehicle goes over 15 mph. Regulatory requirements mandate that an audible chime must activate when the first-row passenger seatbelt is unfastened and the vehicle speed exceeds 15 mph.

Remedy: Update the instrument panel cluster IPC configuration.
