Recall Details

Defect: Affected vehicles may have a Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) that may have been built with an insufficient weld between an internal flexible flat cable (FFC) and busbar. This may prevent deployment of the driver airbag resulting in increased risk of injury to the driver in a crash

Remedy: Inspect and if necessary replace the Steering Column Control Module.
