Defect: Affected vehicles may experience an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) module software malfunction which can disable the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system. Failure of the ESC system can in certain driving conditions cause a vehicle crash without prior warning.
Remedy: Install modified software to the ABS control module.
