Replace either the hand brake lever assembly or for speciality ranges of tractors the hand brake lever pawl due to a different design of the part.

Recall Details

Defect: The teeth of the mechanical park brake pawl and ratchet can wear abnormally fast and may degrade possibly resulting in a loss of grip upon engagement of the handbrake. In the unlikely event of the hand brake lever self dis-engaging due to abnormal wear of the parts it can lead to an unexpected movement of the tractor.

Remedy: Replace either the hand brake lever assembly or for speciality ranges of tractors the hand brake lever pawl due to a different design of the part.
