⚠ What You Should Do

As part of the recall campaign the wheel arch panels must be replaced on the potentially affected vehicles.

Recall Details

Defect: The rear wheel arch panel of the wheel arch cover on the front axle may not be fully engaged on Actros 963 vehicles. Due to incorrectly executed geometry by the supplier three out of five clips of the wheel arch panel could come loose. As a consequence the remaining correctly executed mounting clips and the lower screw point may fail and the wheel arch panel may detach completely from the vehicle and fall off. This may increase the risk of an accident for the following traffic.

Remedy: As part of the recall campaign the wheel arch panels must be replaced on the potentially affected vehicles.
