Defect: On affected vehicles the Motor Control Unit does not communicate with the Body Control Unit. This may cause an immobiliser malfunction leading to a possible vehicle non-start and anti-theft protection not guaranteed.
Remedy: Pair the Motor Control Unit with the Body Control Unit.
