⚠ What You Should Do
Owners of affected vehicles will be asked to immediately close the gas supply to the cooker by turning off the gas shut off valve to the horizontal position then affix the supplied warning sticker to inform potential users that it must be kept closed. Affected owners will then be contacted again to visit their authorised dealer to have the cooker replaced.
Recall Details
Defect: For affected vehicles a crack in the gas cookers filling pipe may cause a continuous gas leak when the gas cylinder is opened. The gas -air mixture could be ignited by a heat source and could result in deflagration and/or a fire in the vehicle. It is also possible that a jet of flame could shoot out of the gas cooker towards someone.
