⚠ What You Should Do
As part of the product safety recall your vehicle will undergo a visual inspection with the aim of determining whether the detection range of the monitoring sensor is restricted by the vehicle body or attachments.
Recall Details
Defect: As part of our continuous product monitoring we have found that the detection range of the monitoring sensor may be partially covered or restricted by the vehicle body or attachments (e.g. side underride guard). This condition can potentially lead to false alarms in the instrument cluster as well as to the initiation of brake control. Road users or obstacles that are in the detection range when cornering may not be detected by the safety system or may be detected with a delay which increases the risk of an accident. At present we have not been informed of any material damage or accidents connected to the aforementioned fault.
