Recall Details

Defect: For certain vehicles there is an error in the specific software calibrations of the Engine Control Unit. In certain cases this condition may result in a delayed activation of the malfunction indicator (MIL) allowing the vehicle to operate with tailpipe emissions exceeding limits before the MIL is triggered

Remedy: Update to the software calibration of the Engine electronic control unit (ECU).
