Recall Details
Defect: During anti-corrosion treatment the steering box mounting surfaces were not adequately masked. As a result anti-corrosion paint contaminated the mating surfaces leading to insufficient metal-to-metal contact when the steering box was installed. This can cause the steering box to loosen over time potentially affecting steering control.
Remedy: Removed anti corrosion paint from mating surfaces.
