Recall Details

Defect: On affected vehicles under specific environmental conditions a localised high impedance area can occur within the connector leading to high current though small contact areas. This can lead to excessive heat causing the connector to deform. In this event the alternator may not continue to provide energy to the system which may lead to a low battery warning and cause the bike to power off as well as potential thermal/degradation concerns.
