Recall Details

Defect: As part of our continuous product monitoring we have found that the detection range of the blind spot assist monitoring sensor may be partially covered or restricted by the vehicle body or attachments (e.g. side underride guard). This condition can potentially lead to false alarms. Road users or obstacles that are in the detection range during cornering may not be detected by the safety system or may be detected with a delay which increases the risk of accidents.  There is currently no information on damage or accidents that are connected to the fault profile mentioned.

Remedy: The blind spot assist will be checked
