Defect: Affected vehicles may have a cylinder block with a missing cooling nozzle. A missing nozzle means the piston may not be adequately cooled causing it to weaken deform or break and leading to sudden engine failure resulting in a loss of power and in the worst‑case scenario a thermal incident.

Remedy: Check the presence of all cooling nozzles and replace if missing.
