⚠ What You Should Do

Verify that air flows through the hose and into air box backing plate. If the air box backing plate port is blocked rework the breather passage.

Recall Details

Defect: The airbox baseplate may have a blocked breather port due to a supplier manufacturing issue. A blocked breather port can result in pressure build-up in the crankcase. If the dipstick is removed while the Version: 3.0 (Jan 2025) crankcase is pressurized oil may be discharged from the fill spout creating a risk of injury.

Remedy: Verify that air flows through the hose and into air box backing plate. If the air box backing plate port is blocked rework the breather passage.
