Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire as it has wires soldered directly to the PCB with no secondary means of mechanical restraint in a high vibration/shock environment. This could lead to the battery thermal protection becoming loose, leading to overheating and fires. In addition, the plug face does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and may not make a secure connection with the socket, also posing a risk of overheating and fire.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
