The product presents a risk of electric shock and fire because it is fitted with a plug incorrectly rated at 13A. The rating is not compatible with the current-carrying capacity of the C7 coupler and may permit use beyond the safe operating limits of the appliance. This could result in overheating, shocking the user or igniting and causing a fire. Improvements are also required to marking, labelling and documentation.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
