Recall Details

Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of fire because the plug adaptor supplied does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and cannot make a secure connection with a UK plug socket. Over time, this leads to the adaptor overheating and catching fire. The supplied plug also does not have capacity for a fuse. A fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the product under fault conditions, and its absence could lead to the plug exploding and/or catching fire.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
