Recall Details
Hazard
The product presents a risk of fire as it may not perform as intended in limiting the spread of fire through a ceiling opening. It has been identified that the stitching used in the product is not fire resistant and may fail under developed fire conditions after approximately six minutes. Failure of the stitching could compromise the productβs ability to resist the passage of fire, allowing fire and hot gases to spread to adjacent areas and increasing the risk of injury to occupants in the event of a fire. The product has not been marketed as providing a specific fire resistance rating.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
