Recall Details

Hazard

There is no evidence that the product has been assessed using the relevant UK conformity assessment procedures. Technical documentation demonstrating compliance with BS EN 1130:2019 for the crib and BS EN 16890:2017+A1:2021 for the mattress was not provided, and there is no evidence of adequate production control. The product and mattress lack the required markings, safety warnings and traceability information, including warnings relating to suffocation hazards. In addition, the product is not accompanied by instructions and safety information for safe use in English. The absence of required warnings, markings and instructions may also result in the product being assembled, secured or used incorrectly – for example placing the product against the adult’s bed without permanently fixing it in place. This could lead to the product moving, the infant slipping and receiving injuries.

The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
