Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock because the insulation is insufficient and could break down during normal use of the product. This could cause the metal parts of the product to become live, and shock the user. The plug face also does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1636, and is suspected to be counterfeit.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
