Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock because the insulation may break down during normal use. If the user touches the metal part of the casing while the item is switched on and the insulation has failed, they may receive an electric shock. The product plug also does not meet the requirements of BS 1363 and will not make a secure connection to the plug socket.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
