Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of strangulation because it is supplied with a string of lights and a rope which both exceed the maximum permitted cord length for children’s toys. These cords may wrap around a child’s neck if left unattended, presenting a risk of strangulation. The product also includes batteries which can be easily accessed without the use of tools. If a child accesses and swallows a battery, they could receive serious internal injuries.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
