Recall Details
Hazard
The product presents a risk of electric shock because it is designed as a double‑insulated electrical appliance, meaning that a second protective insulation must prevent user exposure in case the basic insulation fails.
The manufacturer has identified that, in certain identification numbers, an external aluminium part accessible to the user may come into contact with the aluminium motor support if the first insulation layer fails. If an internal insulation fault occurred between the motor winding and the motor support, the fault could be transmitted to the accessible aluminium part, potentially exposing the user to electric shock.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
