Recall Details
Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of injury as the product specifications require that zinc-plating is used on the fasteners. Testing confirmed that cadmium-plating had been used during the manufacturing process. There is a risk that the incorrect plating on the fasteners can cause the bolt to fracture at temperatures exceeding 232°C which could result in process leakage, serious injury or property damage.
The Fasteners do not comply with the Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and the applicable standards, EN 10204-3.1 and EN 10204-3.2
